1.   Open Microsoft Outlook Express by clicking on the "Read Mail" button on your browser.

2.   Now that Outlook Express is open, click On "Tools" and select "Accounts".

3.   Click on "Add" and select "Mail".The Internet Connection Wizard will open. Input the following information as it is requested throughout the wizard.

4.   Display Name: Type in your full name as you would like it to appear to others.
Click "Next".  

5.   Select "I already have an email address that I'd like to use".
Click "Next".

6.   Make sure the top line reads, "My Incoming Mail Server is a POP3 Server.
In the Incoming Mail Server Field type: mail.birchmorecommunications.com.
In the Outgoing Mail Server Field type: mail.birchmorecommunications.com.
Click "Next".  

7.   Account Name: Enter your FULL email address here.
Password: Enter your password (Please call us if you have misplaced it or forgot it.)
Click "Next".

8.   Click "Finish" and then click "Close".

9.   Now, click on the "Tools" option at the top of the screen inside Outlook Express and then click "Accounts".

10.   Click on the "Servers" tab.

11.   At the very bottom it says "My server requires authentication", put a "check mark" inside that box.

12.   Click "Apply" and then click "Close".

You're done!  That's all there is to it!

Your new email address is: yourusername@birchmore.net
(If you have your own domain name hosted by Birchmore Communications, please use your username at your domain name instead of at birchmore.net)

To check for mail just click on the "Send/Recv" button in Outlook Express

As an additional note:
You may want to delete any other email account(s) listed under Tools -> Accounts in Outlook Express to avoid any unnecessary error messages when sending or receiving email.
